Development Squad defender James Pearson's loan spell with Conference Premier side Wrexham has been extended by another month.
The 21-year-old joined Kevin Wilkin’s side last month, and has since appeared three times for the team, who are currently poised in 13th position – just six points adrift of the play-offs.

Pearson also helped his side progress in the FA Cup, courtesy of a 3-0 victory over Woking, and he could now be part of the squad that take on Aldershot in the league on Saturday – the team immediately above them in the table.

The youngster captained Leicester City’s Under-21s on a number of occasions this term, and made his full first team debut in the Capital One Cup against Shrewsbury Town at King Power Stadium earlier this season.

Last season Pearson also spent time out on loan with League 1 side Carlisle United in a spell that saw him make his Football League debut against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
