The second wave of match worn poppy shirts signed by Leicester City’s stars raised a further £5,738 in support of the Royal British Legion’s 2014 Poppy Appeal.

Esteban Cambiasso’s jersey topped the auction list, eventually selling for £1,950, while the official Barclays Premier League match ball signed by the squad went for £313.
The auction added to the £6,280.25 already raised by the LCFC Foxes Foundation, which included striker Jamie Vardy’s shirt selling for £975.
The tops, which were worn and prepared for the Remembrance Day fixtures against West Bromwich Albion and Southampton in November, totalled an astonishing £12,018.25, surpassing last year’s total of £9,483.
