What To Expect: The country’s most famous domestic football stadium; Old Trafford’s dominant size is certainly one to behold. Over the past two decades, the ground has steadily been redeveloped to cope with the sheer demand of Manchester United’s worldwide support, with the official capacity currently standing at an incredible 76,100. Outside the ground, areas to take in include the memorial to the Munich Air Disaster and the statue of United’s holy trinity of Denis Law, George Best and Bobby Charlton, which can be found across the road from the club’s megastore. Meanwhile, above the entrance to the Manchester United museum in the North Stand, the latest statue has been installed, depicting the club’s legendary manager, Sir Alex Ferguson. Away supporters are located in one corner of the ground, where the view of the match is excellent.
