Leicester City goalkeeper Ben Hamer has joined Championship side Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan.
Ben heads for the City Ground for the duration of the 2015/16 season, though the Foxes retain an immediate recall option on the 27-year-old shot stopper.
After joining Leicester on a free transfer from Charlton Athletic last summer, Hamer made 10 appearances during his debut season for the Foxes, including eight in the Barclays Premier League. He was involved in important league victories over Hull City and Aston Villa around the turn of the year, keeping clean sheets in both matches to add to the one he kept in an early-season 1-0 win at Stoke City.
Hamer joins a Forest squad that will be hunting promotion under the guidance of manager Dougie Freedman and includes former Foxes Matty Fryatt, Jack Hobbs and Matt Mills.
