The Red Devils' visit to King Power Stadium will still take place on Saturday 28 November, but will now kick off at the later time of 5.30pm.
However, the match will be subject to change should Manchester United be involved in the UEFA Europa League the preceding Thursday.
Last season's meeting at King Power Stadium in September was one of the most memorable games in the stadium's history, as City fought back from 3-1 down to beat United 5-3. Louis Van Gaal's side won the reverse fixture at Old Trafford 3-1 in January.
