Young Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell has joined Sky Bet Championship outfit Huddersfield Town on loan until January.

The exciting left back played for both the Club’s Under-18s and Development Squad last campaign and has this season been heavily involved with manager Claudio Ranieri’s first-team proceedings.

After playing in four of City’s five pre-season fixtures, Chilwell made his senior debut for Leicester during the Capital One Cup clash with Hull City in October, playing 120 minutes at the KC Stadium.

The first loan spell of his career, Chilwell links up with a Terriers side that is under the guidance of recently-appointed David Wagner, who boasts managerial experience with Germany’s Borussia Dortmund.

An England youth international at several levels, Chilwell could make his first appearance for Huddersfield in their Championship trip to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday 21 November.
