The LCFC Foxes Foundation raised over £25,000 for The Royal British Legion thanks to the fantastic support of the Blue Army during the Club’s Remembrance Fixture.

The most recent auctions of signed, match-worn poppy shirts raised over £20,000 – an astonishing figure that saw the LCFC Foxes Foundation smash a Club record.

The first auction, which raised a total of £13,903, included the shirt in which Jamie Vardy became the first Englishman ever to score in nine consecutive Barclays Premier League games – that went for a stunning £6,801.

The second wave of poppy shirts totalled £6,885, which included the jersey Riyad Mahrez netted a double in in the 3-2 victory at West Bromwich Albion – eventually fetching an impressive £2,000.

Collectors also raised £4,882 during the Club’s Remembrance Fixture against Watford, taking the grand total to £25,560 – a new LCFC Foxes Foundation record!

All money raised will go to The Royal British Legion, but it doesn’t stop there, as match-prepared shirts will go up for auction on the LCFC Foxes Foundation’s eBay page in the coming weeks!
