Stankevicius Makes Lithuania Switch

Leicester City youngster Simonas Stankevicius has joined Lithuanian side FK Žalgiris for an undisclosed fee.
- Young Leicester City striker Simonas Stankevicius has joined Lithuanian team FK Žalgiris on a permanent deal 

- The 20-year-old is a full international for Lithuania and has been part of City’s Development Squad over the past two seasons 

- Stankevicius spent time on loan with League 1 side Oldham Athletic earlier this campaign 

Leicester City youngster Simonas Stankevicius has joined Lithuanian side FK Žalgiris for an undisclosed fee. 

The 20-year-old striker, who progressed from the Club’s Under-18s side to the Development Squad, is a full international for Lithuania and last year played against England for his nation at Wembley. 

A powerful targetman, Stankevicius enjoyed loan spells with non-league Nuneaton Town and more recently Oldham Athletic in League 1 – appearing four times for the Latics in August and September this season.
