Young footballers in Leicester are invited to spend their Easter holiday playing football at one of our LCFC Community Trust Easter courses, which are being held across Leicester & Leicestershire.
The LCFC Community Trust will be holding several football courses throughout Leicester and Leicestershire for young players to play football and improve their game during the Easter holidays, with courses being held in:
- Wigston
- Coalville
- Loughborough
- Quorn
- Hinckley
- Thurmaston
- Aylestone
- Blaby
Our experienced coaches will also be holding Easter football courses at Leicester City’s state-of-the-art training ground, Belvoir Drive, for young footballers who are already participating in our after-school Satellite Centres.
Starting at £8 for Junior Fox Members and £13 for non-Junior Fox Members, with a 20% discount for 2015/16 Season Ticket Holders and their siblings, the Easter football courses provide great value with experienced LCFC Community Trust coaches teaching young footballers about various aspects of the game.
Throughout each course, participants will be taught about heading, dribbling, passing and shooting, as well as team-play and the technical aspects of the game, helping each participant improve as a player.
For those young players who show promise throughout the courses, there could potentially be the opportunity to progress through the LCFC Player Pathway.
All participants on the Easter courses will also receive a certificate for taking part, whilst there will be prizes for competition winners, and a penalty shoot-out in aid of the LCFC Foxes Foundation – not to mention a visit from the Leicester City mascot, Filbert Fox*.
