King Power Stadium Finale For Harrison Murray Schools League

The Harrison Murray Schools League reached its exciting conclusion last month as 16 teams took part in finals day on the pitch at King Power Stadium.
- The Harrison Murray Schools League season ended with an exciting finals day at King Power Stadium on 17 May 

- Sixteen teams competed across two divisions at the home of Leicester City Football Club

- More than 500 young footballers from 55 Leicestershire schools have taken part throughout the season 

- Teams from Alderman Richard Hallam and Catherine Junior School were eventually crowned winners on the day 

The Harrison Murray Schools League reached its exciting conclusion last month as 16 teams took part in finals day on the pitch at King Power Stadium. 

Over the course of the season the project has seen more than 500 youngsters from 55 Leicestershire schools compete in matches for the chance play at the home of Leicester City. 

Those teams were split into eight groups, with 16 teams eventually qualifying to compete in two divisions on an exciting day at King Power Stadium. 

DIVISION 1: Abbey, Shenton, Scraptoft Valley, Willowbrook, Dovelands, Alderman Richard Hallan, Overdale, St Thomas More 

DIVISION 2: Inglehurst, Beaumont Lodge, Avenue, Granby, Wyvern, Spinney Hill, Catherine, Abbey B 

After the teams faced off against each other in their divisions the tournament progressed to a semi-final before a winner from each division was crowned. 

DIVISION 1 WINNERS: Alderman Richard Hallam 

DIVISION 2 WINNERS: Catherine Junior School 

The Harrison Murray Schools League has enjoyed a huge growth in popularity over recent seasons and thanks to the partnership with Harrison Murray Estate Agents, it has gone from strength-to-strength again this term with a girls’ league also running alongside. 

Well done to all those who took part in this season’s league and a particular congratulations to our winners – Alderman Richard Hallam and Catherine Junior School.
