Leicester City’s Under-18s earned an U18 Premier League point against West Ham United at Little Heath on Saturday afternoon.

The young Foxes were aiming to build on a positive start to the 2016/17 campaign that had seen them beat both Brighton and Hove Albion and Norwich City at Belvoir Drive.

City’s last outing – a 2-1 win over Norwich – came courtesy of strikes from Elliot Webber and Kairo Edwards-John and both were on the scoresheet again on Saturday.

Dan Kemp put the Hammers 1-0 up in the first period, before Webber was on target after the break to make it 1-1.

Edwards-John fired in for his third goal of the season to put City 2-1 up, only for West Ham to earn a point from the fixture thanks to Ben Wells’ equaliser.

City return to Belvoir Drive next weekend, when they face Reading in the U18 Premier League on Saturday 17 September.
