City striker Marko Futacs has today (Tuesday) joined Blackpool on a one-month loan deal.

The 23-year-old Hungarian striker will join up with the Seasiders immediately and will remain at Bloomfield Road until 1 April. Subject to his registration being cleared by the Football League, Marko could make his debut for Paul Ince’s side at Birmingham City on Tuesday night.

Futacs joined the Foxes last summer following a spell with Portsmouth and has made 12 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring on his debut against Burton Albion in the League Cup and in a 6-0 npower Championship win over Ipswich Town in November.

In addition to Tuesday night’s trip to St Andrew’s, Futacs will be available for Blackpool’s away trips to Watford and Blackburn during the next month, along with home games against Peterborough and Crystal Palace.
