Leicester City youngster Brandon Fox has been handed a call-up to the England Under-16s squad for the upcoming Nordics Tournament that is set to take place between 1-16 August.

The 16-year-old schoolboy joined a host of other Academy prospects in signing scholarships with the Club in April, and has featured regularly for Trevor Peake’s Under-18s in the latter part of the season– scoring the winning goal in the 1-0 triumph over Sheffield United in the young Foxes’ final fixture.

Led by Kenny Swain, the Under-16s have competed in the annual Nordics Tournament for over a decade and last year finished runners-up to Sweden after topping a group including Norway, Finland and host nation the Faroe Islands.
