- Former Foxes defender Gerry Taggart coached Hong Kong youngsters at a LCFC Community Trust football course on Monday

- Taggart was delighted with the players’ application, despite difficult weather conditions
Youngsters throughout the week will benefit from the former Foxes defender’s expertise, as he helps them develop their skills at the LCFC Community Trust’s coaching courses.
A heavy downpour did not affect the cheerful mood of the budding young footballers, who enjoyed a series of drills, in turn improving their passing, finishing and ball work.
Taggart told LCFC TV: “It was great fun. I’ve had a lot of help from the coaches and the parents, so it went really well.
“The weather held off for us. It’s very hot and sticky out here, but it was great fun for all the kids that were involved.
“It’s great for a team from England to come over to Hong Kong and get involved with the coaching that they have here. They really enjoyed it and hopefully it’ll be a memory that will stay with them.”
LCFC Community Trust coach Ryan Bromyard added: “It’s been brilliant. It’s challenging because it’s a little different weather-wise, but the kids looked like they enjoyed it.
“They don’t really care about the weather conditions, they just absolutely loved it. They all played with a smile on their face which is great to see.
“The kids recognised the Leicester City badge straight away and they loved it. The enjoyment that they get from it is fantastic.”
