Nikola Storm (2), Yannick Aguemon (3), Mathieu Maertens and Kenneth Schuermans all scored on a memorable evening for the the Proximus League B side at King Power at Den Dreef Stadium.

Coalville-born Moore, a commanding 20-year-old defender who has captained the Club’s Development Squad, progressed rapidly through the Academy ranks into first team contention last season.

In the summer, he was also a key figure for the England Under-20s squad that retained the Toulon Tournament title, alongside Foxes team-mate Harvey Barnes.

Barnes, meanwhile, was an unused substitute for Barnsley as they went down 1-0 to Sheffield United at Bramall Lane earlier on Saturday afternoon.

The 19-year-old midfielder will remain with Paul Heckingbottom’s Sky Bet Championship side until the end of the season as he continues his development.

Barnes previously made his maiden appearance for the Tykes in the 80th minute of a 2-1 reverse against Ipswich Town on Saturday 12 August.

City midfielder Harvey Barnes penned a new four-year deal this summer.

Elsewhere, Callum Elder, 22, is yet to return from suspension after receiving a red card during Wigan Athletic’s League 1 curtain-raiser against MK Dons earlier this month.

The Austrialian full back will be in contention to feature once more when the Latics travel to Steve Bruce’s Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening.
