Leicester City have unveiled their official 2017 Christmas video!

- On Friday, Leicester City launched their official 2017 Christmas video
- First team stars including Riyad Mahrez, Kelechi Iheanacho and Ben Chilwell feature
- Icons Gerry Taggart, Matt Elliott, Steve Walsh and Muzzy Izzet also have a role in the film
- The full range of official Leicester City merchandise is available to buy now

After taking part in an official photoshoot for City’s 2017/18 Christmas brochure, members of the Blue Army were invited on set at the City Fanstore at King Power Stadium.

Featuring players as City Fanstore employees, supporters choosing gifts and an abundance of Christmas cheer, the video also showcases official Foxes merchandise on sale this festive season.

Most days are very intense and focused, so to get away from the training ground as a team and do anything like this is really fun!

The event was a welcome opportunity for players to head out in the local area, echoed by Ben Chilwell: “It was a good laugh and great for everyone to be involved with.

Ex-Foxes stars, including Filbert Street icons Gerry Taggart, Muzzy Izzet, Matt Elliott and Steve Walsh, were just as thrilled to play their part in the shoot.

Taggart said: “It brought back some nice memories and was a good experience. It’s also a great opportunity for fans to get involved.”

As well as featuring players in the iconic Fox & Crop range, the two-minute final cut reveals merchandise, including retro-wear and the Club’s own Kasabian collection.

Head of Retail Matt Payne said: “At Leicester City we’re always looking for supporters to engage with us and inviting them to help with our Christmas campaign is a great way to do it.

Andy King was one of many City stars to appear.

“We’re delighted with how our Christmas video has spearheaded these aims and we can’t wait to see our supporters’ reaction.”
