Following the Sky Bet League 1 club’s 2-0 victory over Hereford FC on Thursday, City will travel to Highbury Stadium on Saturday 6 January for a 12:45pm kick-off, live on BBC One.
The clash could see Jamie Vardy return to the club where he scored 31 goals in 36 appearances before joining the Foxes and eventually lifting the Championship and Premier League titles.
Claude Puel’s men, meanwhile, have won their last four top flight fixtures, most recently defeating Southampton 4-1 at St Mary’s Stadium on Wednesday evening.
