The Foxes were held to a 1-1 Premier League draw by Paul Lambert’s men last weekend, as Jack Butland’s own goal, via an Albrighton cross, cancelled out an opening strike from Xherdan Shaqiri.
City hit the woodwork twice through Matty James and Harry Maguire and only a stunning save from Butland prevented Riyad Mahrez from securing all three points late on.
“We look for maximum points in these games,” said Albrighton. “It’s the same as the Swansea game. We had all the ball and we had good chances but we just couldn’t find that cutting edge that we need to get the goals.
“We had a bit of bad luck along the way as well. We hit the post a couple of times and the ‘keeper has made a couple of saves as well. Ultimately, it’s disappointing.
“We started the game well, which is what we said to do before the game – to start well. After 15 or 20 minutes, we backed off.
“Even if we had gone in at half-time at 0-0, I think the manager still would have said we need to pick our game up. We started well but we need to get back to that level.
“We knew going out into the second half that we needed to raise our game and we did that. We piled the pressure on and we had chance after chance, but I don’t think luck was on our side either.”
On the visit of Bournemouth, he added: “It’s a big game again and we need to win that one. There’s no getting away from that fact. We should have beat Swansea here and we should have beat Stoke here.
“We have to beat Bournemouth. We’ll prepare this week and hopefully we can get the result.”
