The match was initially scheduled to take place at Liberty Stadium but it will now be hosted at their training complex in Landore, less than a mile away from the ground.
City's Under-23s rose to the Premier League 2 Division 1 summit following Monday's 4-0 win over Liverpool, but the Reds, Arsenal and Everton, their direct rivals, all play over the coming weekend.
Back in October, the Foxes defeated Swansea 2-0 at Holmes Park, courtesy of two goals from Zimbabwe international Admiral Muskwe.
