Simran Thandi’s late penalty secured a first win in 10 for Leicester City’s Academy Squad, a 2-1 success over Fulham, at Belvoir Drive on Saturday.

Tyrese Shade put the young Foxes ahead on the hour-mark at the Club’s training ground, but Timmy Abraham levelled for the Cottagers within five minutes to set up an exciting finale.

However, it was City who struck again, through Thandi’s spot-kick in the 76th minute, to seal all three points and to climb up to fifth in the Premier League U18 South Division standings.

Leicester now face successive away games at Arsenal, on Saturday 7 April (11:30am), and Swansea City, on Saturday 14 April (11am).

The last outing of the season comes on Saturday 21 April (12pm) when they tackle Norwich City at Belvoir Drive.
