Leicester City’s Academy side concluded their Premier League U18 South campaign with a brilliant 4-1 success over Norwich City at Belvoir Drive on Saturday.

Kairo Edwards-John gave the young Foxes the lead in the 15th minute and, following Adam Idah’s leveller shortly after, Conor Tee resumed their one-goal advantage before half-time.

During a competitive second half, the Canneries stifled City for long periods, until the latter moments when Kairo’s brother, Dempsey Arlott-John, notched a brace from the bench late on.

As a result, Trevor Peake’s side climb to fifth in the South Division, after finishing 12th last season, although they must wait on results elsewhere for their final ranking to be confirmed.
