On Friday, Leicester City revealed the Club’s new-look 2018/19 home kit as part of a multi-year partnership with adidas - one of the world’s most famous sporting brands.

Earlier this year, Claude Puel’s Foxes squad convened in Leicestershire for the official photoshoot, where they got a first glimpse of the latest City home kit.

With traditional blue and white being supplemented with a gold trim, the kit is likely to be popular with the Blue Army – and the first team squad were equally as thrilled with the design.

While the kit is expected to be among the most popular in City's recent history, it is also at the forefront of sporting kit design technology.

Equipped with adidas Climalite technology, the light, breathable fabric is designed to conduct heat and sweat away from the body to keep the Club's stars cool and dry all year round.

A specially engineered mesh detailing across the shirt, meanwhile, is not just aesthetically pleasing - it is also intended to assist with breathability in all weather conditions.

The iconic adidas three stripes feature prominently on each shoulder of the new home shirt, breaking up around the collar to allow for a stylish gold trim.

“It’s a refreshing change,” captain Wes Morgan told LCFC TV. “I look forward to being in an adidas kit next season!”
