A fifth day of training in Evian-les-Bains came to a close for Leicester City on Friday, as they prepare to fly back to England on Saturday afternoon.

- Leicester City returned to the training pitch for two sessions on Friday
- The Foxes also spent time in the gym in the evening
- The Club’s stars and staff will fly back to England on Saturday afternoon

A series of intense sessions have demanded maximum effort from the Foxes during their second week of pre-season and with just four weeks to go until their Premier League campaign gets underway, the hard work is beginning to pay off.

City returned to the training pitch for a football session in the morning following 12 kilometres of uphill cycling in the French Alps on Thursday.

After lunch came more ball work before the Club’s stars concluded the day with a strength session in the hotel gym.

Left back Ben Chilwell said: “Obviously, the heat has played a massive part in it. It’s been good being away with the boys and it’s an amazing place.

“We’re training, getting two or three sessions a day and we’re working hard. We’re getting fitter and stronger.”

Claude Puel’s men will train in Évian for the final time on Saturday before heading home after a highly productive week.
