On Monday evening, the Foxes ran out as 1-0 victors at King Power Stadium, courtesy of Layton Ndukwu’s fifth-minute winner, following good work by midfielder Hamza Choudhury.

But it was Johansson’s performance in goal which caught the eye for many, producing an outstanding save to deny Swansea's Courtney Baker-Richardson late on.

“It was really good, I really enjoyed it and I think we did an amazing game as well so I’m very pleased,” the 19-year-old Swedish shot-stopper told LCFC TV at full-time.

“I need to keep the ball out of the net and I’m happy I did that tonight and I had great defenders in front of me as well who helped me a lot.”

Discussing the game overall, he added: “It was a bit scrappy from time to time but we had it under control I think. The team did amazing… [it was] hard work so I’m pleased for the lads.

“It’s always important to get three points ahead of the next game so it was really good.”
