Leicester City Football Club is recruiting a Procurement Manager to shape and deliver the procurement strategy of the Club.

Established in 1884, Leicester City Football Club is a leading Football Club, achieving outstanding success as Premier League champions in 2016. Following a period of growth, Leicester City Football Club is recruiting a Procurement Manager to shape and deliver the procurement strategy of the Club.

About The Role

Based the King Power Stadium, the key duties of this role include:

- Driving best practice for procurement across the club by building positive working relationships with directors, department heads and managers.
- Responsibility for producing and maintaining the Clubs procurement policies and procedures.
- Sourcing and purchasing a diverse range of products and materials for the club and to achieve quality, delivery and cost targets through effective supplier management.
- To identify areas of quality improvement and cost savings across the whole Club.
- Manage and develop the contracting process for major purchases for the Club.
- Lead and manage negotiations for strategic purchases and key suppliers to establish best value for money and quality within budget on favourable credit terms.
- Management & development of the Procurement Executive.

 We are looking for a candidate ideally with the following skills and qualifications:

- CIPS qualified or equivalent
- Proven work experience in a varied procurement role
- Highly developed negotiating & networking skills
- Ability to build effective relationships
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail

Contract Type - Permanent
Hours Per Week – 37.5
