The team spirit within Leicester City’s Development Squad is the source of strength behind their five-game winning run, says goalkeeper Viktor Johansson.

- Leicester City's Development Squad emerged from Swansea City with a 3-0 win on Monday
- Admiral Muskwe and Ali Reghba (2) found the net for the Foxes in Landore
- City's Under-23s are second in Premier League 2 Division 1
- Johansson says the team spirit in the camp is one key reason behind their fine form

Admiral Muskwe scored a penalty and trialist Ali Reghba hit a brace in a 3-0 victory at Swansea City on Monday to keep the Foxes within one point of the Premier League 2 summit.

That result also marked a fifth clean sheet in City’s last six matches in all competitions and Johansson was delighted with the overall team performance at full-time.

He told LCFC TV: “It was a great win, the team spirit was fantastic, everyone worked hard in the game and I’m pleased for the whole team to get the three points away from home.

“The team spirit is important for us, everyone trusts each other and their abilities to do what they can do best so yeah I think it’s a very good team spirit.

“You have to expect that it’s going to be tight at the top of the table, we can just do what we can do and hope that Everton slip up along the way, so we just have to keep on going.”

Johansson, 20, concluded by taking a moment to pay tribute to his defensive colleagues who have defended so valiantly over recent weeks for the Club’s Under-23s.

“They were amazing as always. Josh Knight, DJ [Darnell Johnson], Alex [Pascanu], Bassey [Calvin Ughelumba], everyone back there is doing fantastic, they help me out a lot.

“They trust me and I trust them so it’s a great bond back there.”
