- Mace was impressed by the ambitions of the Club

Becoming City’s fifth signing of the month, Ruby follows Remy Siemsen, Janina Leitzig, Courtney Nevin and Georgia Eaton-Collins through the door at Belvoir Drive.

At just 19 years of age, the midfielder is a rising talent that manager Willie Kirk sees great potential in, and following the injury to Abbie McManus, was delighted to add Mace to the ranks.

The new addition has recent experience on a football pitch with Leicester players, but not while wearing the darker shade of blue, as she started for the Citizens when they beat the Foxes in the Continental Tyres League Cup, only a week prior.

I'd say I'm very composed and very calm and collected on the ball, and I like to go forward but mainly with passing instead of dribbling.

Now swapping sides, the former Birmingham City player is looking forward to receiving more game time with the Foxes.

“It feels really great to be here, and I can't wait to get started,” she told LCFC TV. “It was really important to me, to be honest, as I’ve been putting in training at Man City, and it's nice to come here and get to the end result and be able to start playing games.

“I believe my aims matched with the ambitions of the Club. I like how hard they work as a team and what they're trying to achieve, so it seemed like the right fit for me.”

Looking forward to getting more minutes in the tank for her own personal development, the Man City loanee confirms she is here to make the most of her time with the Club.

“Willie [Kirk] spoke to me, saying how he thinks I would be good for the team to help them,” she continued. “I appreciated the trust in my abilities and am happy to be here.

“I'd say I'm very composed and very calm and collected on the ball, and I like to go forward but mainly with passing instead of dribbling. While I’m here, I just want to work hard and showcase my ability and what I can do and help the team as much as possible.”
