Opponents Man City are currently enjoying a seven-game winning streak, but the young Foxes will be up for the occasion, having not lost in any of their four cup games so far this season.

Leicester's youngsters beat Chelsea in the last round.

Leicester then doubled their points tally with a convincing 4-0 win over Stoke City at Clayton Wood Training Ground in November of last year. Kirsten Otchere opened the scoring before Jayden Joseph gave City some breathing space at the break.

Two goals in two minutes from Mirsad Ali and Toby Ononaye put the game out of sight as they headed into the final fixture of the group stages, which ended in a 3-3 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Leicester went in front courtesy of an own goal from Jacob Vickers, before Sahil Bashir and Joe Belmont saw the Seagulls hit back. Yassine Toure levelled the scores just before the break which spurred on Leicester to take the lead through another own goal just after the interval.

An injury-time penalty kick from Layth Gulzar ended to the Foxes' 100 per cent record but a point and an unbeaten group stage was enough to see them progress through to the first knockout round where they faced Chelsea.
