It's been over a month since the Foxes were last on home soil, but they return to Filbert Way this weekend for the visit of Man Utd, in what will be their penultimate home fixture of the 2023/24 campaign.

Here's a detailed look into both team's form and how you can follow the action this Sunday...

City haven't tasted victory since an Adobe Women's FA Cup Quarter-Final against Liverpool at the start of March, but put in hard-fought performances against top level opposition, most notably pushing Tottenham Hotspur for 120 minutes in the following semi-final.

Last weekend saw Leicester make their first trip to Emirates Stadium where a brace from Beth Mead sent Arsenal on their way to a 3-0 win, but while stooping to 10th position in the standings won't be desired by anyone in the Foxes' camp; Bristol City's recent loss to Liverpool means Leicester will play WSL football next term.

With 17 points collected over the season, the Foxes will be hoping to return to winning ways and potentially tighten their defensive structure, as they also aim for a first clean sheet in five outings. At the other end of the pitch, Jutta Rantala remains top scorer for the Club with 10 across all competitions.

The Red Devils head into the weekend in good form, losing only once in their last five meetings against arch-rivals Manchester City in round 17. Jessica Park and Khadija Shaw confirmed victory for the hosts at Etihad Stadium.

Currently fourth in the standings with nine wins from 19 games, UEFA Women's Champions League Qualification is off the table for United, but beating Chelsea in the FA Cup Semi-Final does give Marc Skinner's side the chance to lift a trophy this season if they are to get past Spurs at Wembley next month.

Nikita Parris is the Manchester club's top scorer this season with eight, although the importance of Ella Toone cannot be understated as the midfielder ranks second for both goals and assists this campaign.

Skinner joined Man Utd in the summer of 2021, and is inching towards 100 games in charge of the Red Devils, earning an impressive 1.9 points per game. He has failed to add any silverware to his CV, but is just one game away from putting the FA Cup on his record.

The 41-year-old has never lost to the Foxes, and will be hoping to create some breathing space between themselves and Liverpool in fifth but Leicester will prove a difficult task for his side, ranking sixth in the WSL for expected goals.

Leicester have drawn just once against Man Utd in the last five meetings, that point coming in the reverse fixture earlier this season at Leigh Sports Village when Aileen Whelan opened the scoring before Maya Le Tissier levelled things up minutes later.

The two teams met once again in Leigh for a Continental Tyres League Cup fixture last December. Whelan once again found the net, but the Red Devils took the points in Group B, rounding off the 3-1 scoreline with a Katie Zelem penalty a little past the hour mark.
