With several changes to the line-up this time around, the decisive goals were scored by Amya Hammond McLean and Romy Saunders at Holmes Park, ensuring success for Leicester at a regional level.
Their road to the final started with a quarter-final victory over Leicester City Ladies in which Hammond-McLean and Simone Sherwood scored the goals in a 2-0 win, before another 2-0 success in the March semi-final confirmed their spot in the last two.

Several Under-21 players have also made their mark on the First Team, such as Denny Draper, who netted her first Barclays Women's Super League goal in a 5-2 win against Bristol City, while Baker continues to make waves in the senior squad since her professional debut back in January 2022.
