Moore Selected For England U20s Camp

Foxes defender Liam Moore has been selected for a training camp with England’s Under-20 side to take place between 20-24 May, ahead of the FIFA U20s World Cup in June.

The 20-year-old Academy Graduate has made 24 senior appearances this season, which include a seven-game loan spell with League 1 side Brentford, as well as featuring in City’s final day victory at Nottingham Forest.

will be assessing his options during the training camp prior to the announcement of a final 21-man squad on 7 June, who will then travel to Turkey for the .

The Young Lions have been drawn in for the tournament alongside Chile, Egypt and Iraq.

They will kick-off their campaign against Iraq on 23 June at Antalya’s Akdeniz University Stadium, before taking on Chile on 26 June at the same venue and finally facing Egypt on 29 June at the Ataturk Stadium in Bursa.

The final will take place at the 52,000 seater Ali Sam Yen Arena in Istanbul on 13 July, with new winners guaranteed after 2011 champions Brazil missed out on qualification along with fellow absentees Argentina.
