Schmeichel has a minor problem with his ankle, but has trained as normal ahead of Hull City, says Craig Shakespeare.

The Leicester City caretaker manager confirmed on Friday that the Club will continue to monitor the stopper’s injury, before revealing that there are no fresh fitness problems for the Foxes.

Only Molla Wagué will miss the clash with the Tigers after injuring his shoulder against Millwall last month.

“Thankfully, we have everyone fit, a clean bill of health,” said Shakespeare. “I have everyone to choose from.

“Kasper [Schmeichel] has a slight problem with his ankle but nothing that will keep him out of training. We are managing it.

“It hasn’t caused him a problem in games and he has trained as normal. It is something we will have to manage as we go along. If you talk to lots of players at other they will all have niggles.

“We just make sure he does his rehab work before training and it is nothing that will keep him from training or games.”
