Danns Set For Bolton Loan

Leicester City midfielder Neil Danns is set to join Sky Bet Championship side Bolton Wanderers on a three-month loan.

The 30-year-old heads to the Reebok Stadium in search of some first team football, having featured just twice for the Foxes so far this term. His loan spell will run until 26 December, 2013.

Danns should be available to make his Trotters debut against Yeovil Town this Saturday, as Dougie Freedman’s side aim to climb off the foot of the Championship table.

The Liverpool-born midfielder joined the City in the summer of 2011 following a successful four-season spell with Crystal Palace, and has also spent time playing for Blackburn Rovers, Colchester United and Birmingham City during his career. He has made a total of 42 appearances for City, most recently featuring in the 5-2 win at Carlisle United in the Capital One Cup last month, and spent part of last season on loan with Huddersfield Town.
