City Staff Conquer The Three Peaks

While the Leicester City continue to climb the Premier League table, off the pitch Nigel Pearson and staff took on another test in the form of the National Three Peaks Challenge.

Among the group were the Club’s Football Operations Director, Andrew Neville, who displayed a head for heights last year when he reached the Mount Everest Base Camp, alongside a number of City staff including Director of Football Jon Rudkin, Club Physiotherapist Dave Rennie and First Team Coach Mike Stowell as they donned their walking boots to scale a hat-trick of the UK's highest points.

Once again, it was all in the name of fundraising for the LCFC Foxes Foundation and it’s five partner charities for 2014/15, namely; the Leicestershire Autistic Society, Leicestershire Hospitals Charity, Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, Rainbows Children’s Hospice and the Lord Mayor’s Appeal.

The LCFC Foxes Foundation continues to go from strength-to-strength and 2014/15 is a year in which it hopes to break the £250,000 fundraising mark – edging closer to the ‘second million’ in the process.

It’s a total that was also given a welcome boost last month with the news supporters renewing their Season Tickets pledged an extra £10,000 to the cause.

And after the turn of LCFC’s ‘endurance athletes’ in the gruelling Three Peaks Challenge, make sure you add to the total by sponsoring them.

to donate and help some worthy causes make a real difference to people's lives.
