Schlupp Rounds Off International Break

Leicester City winger Jeff Schlupp brought the Club’s international involvement to a close on Tuesday evening.

The Academy graduate completed 90 minutes for Ghana in their 1-1 friendly draw with Mali in Paris.
Udinese’s Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu opened the scoring for the Black Stars, but Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Bakary Sako scored from the spot with 19 minutes to play to secure a draw for his side.
Meanwhile, youngster Tomas Dombrauskis was on the scoresheet for Lithuania’s Under-19s in their European Under-19s Championship qualifying draw with Belgium on Tuesday.
Dombrauskis opened the scoring for his nation, with the clash eventually finishing 2-2 in Kopparvallen, Sweden.
Finally, Under-18s captain Ben Chilwell played 90 minutes for England Under-19s in their 2-1 European Under-19 Championship qualifier against France in Saint-Lo on Tuesday.
Goals from Sherou Guirassy and Gnaly Cornet were enough to seal a win for the hosts, despite a late response from Fulham’s Patrick Roberts.
The result means Sean O’Driscoll’s young Lions missed out on qualification for the finals of the tournament in July.
