Fulham Defeat For U18s In Seagrave

The Leicester City Under-18s fell to a 5-1 defeat at home to Fulham on Wednesday afternoon.

The young Foxes' penultimate game of the season ended in a heavy defeat to Fulham in the U18 Premier League South as Thomas Olyott scored a hat-trick for the visitors at LCFC Training Ground.

Leicester's form has taken a hit since a 2-1 win over Reading back in late March, and have seen four defeats on the bounce, before Wednesday's reverse to the Cottagers.

Olyott opened the scoring early on in Seagrave, and had himself a brace before the 10th minute, to which the scores were unchanged heading into the break. Shortly after the restart, the Foxes came out of the traps and pulled one back through Kirsten Otchere.

Leicester's Under-18s finish their 2023/24 season away at Aston Villa.

It didn't take Fulham long, however, to regain their two-goal cushion when Damon Park went through on goal, assisted by Olyott, who completed his hat-trick with 20 minutes left on the clock.

Macauley Zepa rounded the scoring on what was a frustrating afternoon for City, who will look to bounce back and end this term on a high, when they make the short trip to Bodymoor Heath Training Ground to face Aston Villa on Saturday 11 May (11am BST kick-off).
