Sign up to a skill centre.
Suitable for all abilities, children can expect mixed and girls-only football sessions consisting of skill development sessions and matches every week.
Ensuring participation and enjoyment are the very fundamentals of the development of the game in the county, there are structured and weekly sessions around a particular topic each block, covering a range of key areas around the game.
Sessions are available to children aged five to 13 during school term-time and cost £4 per session at different locations across Leicestershire.
Registration takes place five minutes before the session starts, with children being split into age specific coaching groups until pick up and every child receiving a certificate.
Designed and delivered by experienced and enthusiastic coaches, working alongside any grassroots training the participants may already be involved in, we also aim to signpost those players without a current club or who are new to football to their nearest grassroots team.
What to bring
All participants must bring appropriate clothing in case of bad weather, shin pads, football socks and goalkeeper gloves if needed. As well as correct footwear, including football boots with no metal studs. Please also bring any medication required and bottle of water. All participants must be dropped off and collected by a parent/guardian. We kindly ask that all parents/guardians stay on site.
Every parent/carer/guardian will receive an email at least a day before the skill centre starts. This includes all the key information that you need to know before attending.
