- Leicester City host Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Monday (8pm kick-off)- Full-back James Justin has spoken to CITY, the official LCFC matchday magazine- He says City are braced for a tough test against Steve Cooper's Forest outfit
The Foxes welcome Steve Cooper's men to King Power Stadium on Monday evening (8pm kick-off) still searching for their first win of the 2022/23 season. Forest, meanwhile, sit one place above City on their return to the Premier League after 23 years away from England's top flight.
Speaking inside CITY, the Club's official matchday magazine, England international Justin explained his own perspective on the season so far.
"It’s obviously been a tough start to the season for us," Leicester's No.2 said. "To be fair, if you look at a lot of the games, there are a lot of positives to take from them but we obviously need to work on a few things. Hopefully we can iron those out, starting with the game against Forest."
Forest made headlines this summer as they welcomed 22 new signings to the City Ground. Justin expects a difficult test from the two-time European champions, despite them being yet to gel as a squad.
"We’re expecting a really tough game," the former Luton Town full-back added. "They’ve changed a lot of their team since we played them last year. It will be a good challenge for us but we go into the game looking to pick up all three points. The atmosphere will be top notch, as it always is.
"Hopefully, it will be a sell-out crowd and they can get behind us to help us get that important first win on the board."
