Leicester City are pleased to announce the two winning designs of a competition which allows supporters to put their stamp on the concourses at King Power Stadium.
At the end of 2016, the Club gave Foxes fans the unique opportunity to put their creative mark on King Power Stadium by creating a design to be painted onto the concourse walls.
After receiving hundreds of entries, a final shortlist of five were selected for a fans vote. Those votes have now been counted and the winning two designs can be revealed as…
Designed by Mick Peacock and Russ Patemen, they opted to incorporate player names from the Club’s history on their design while also including a nod to the Club’s Post Horn Gallop and Filbert Fox.
Created by lifelong fan Anil Patel, the artwork uses elements of the Club’s history, such as the light blue diagonal band from the Leicester Fosse kits, alongside the Club’s current crest and the Premier League trophy.
The two designs will be painted onto the walls in the West Stand ahead of the Manchester United fixture, while the winners have been invited to King Power Stadium to meet the artists carrying out the work.
They will also be invited to try their hand at painting some of their designs onto the wall and have their photograph taken pitchside with the Premier League trophy.
