About the role
Leicester City Academy are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Performance Analyst to work within our Youth Development Phase, this exciting role will primarily work with the Under 15s and Under 13s age groups but will also support individual player development across the YDP and FP age groups.
The role requires a high degree of flexibility to cover evenings and weekends work as required. The position will be offered on a full-time basis and all relevant training will be provided.
Key duties of this role include:
- Conducting match and player coding to provide team and individual statistical and video content against category 1 and 2 oppositions- Preparing and delivering group feedback sessions to assist player development using objective and statistical data- Providing pre-match analysis for all home Under 15s games against category 1 or 2 opposition
The role will be based at the Club's brand new first team and academy training ground. With a number of academy graduates included in the first team squad there has never been a more exciting time to join the Club.
**Who we are looking for**
The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering performance analysis support in an elite football/sport environment, a good understanding of how data can be translated into an effective tool for player development and a qualification at undergraduate level in a related course.
Essential requirements:
• Minimum 2:1 Sports Science/Performance Analysis or other relatable degree• Experience using SportsCode analysis software programs• Excellent presentation skills including creating and delivering• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail in the work produced• Possess strong time management skills and have a flexible approach to work• Able to communicate in different mediums• Listens, interprets and conveys information in a clear and accurate manner• Provides timely delivery of information and selects the most appropriate method of communication
