- Four Foxes nominated for Premier League awards for September- Brendan Rodgers is shortlisted for Barclays Manager of the Month- Jamie Vardy and Timothy Castagne are up for EA Sports Player of the Month- James Maddison’s strike against Manchester City is nominated for Budweiser Goal of the Month

The Foxes manager has been shortlisted for Barclays Manager of the Month, after his side scored more goals than any other team in September, beating West Bromwich Albion 3-0 at the Hawthorns, Burnley 4-2 at King Power Stadium and putting five past Manchester City at Etihad Stadium.

Vardy and summer signing Castagne will go head-to-head for EA Sports Player of the Month. Last season’s Golden Boot winner has scored five goals so far this campaign, including a hat-trick in City’s impressive 5-2 victory over Pep Guardiola’s side, while Castagne has enjoyed a fantastic start to his Premier League career, scoring one goal and setting up another two.

Maddison, meanwhile, has been nominated for Budweiser Goal of the Month for his unstoppable strike from 25-yards out against the Citizens at Etihad Stadium.
