- The third-round draw for the Carabao Cup will take place on Wednesday- Leicester City have overcome Burton Albion and Tranmere Rovers so far- Third round ties will take place week commencing 25 September- The Foxes are ball number 12 in the draw

The Foxes put their name in the hat with a 2-0 success at Tranmere Rovers on Tuesday evening. Wilfred Ndidi and Jamie Vardy struck in the second half at Prenton Park, in a win which follows a first-round success at Burton Albion.

Unlike the first and second rounds, the draw for the third round will not be regionalised, with any of the 32 clubs being able to be drawn against any participating team.

Current holders Manchester United, Premier League champions Manchester City and Liverpool enter at this stage, alongside Newcastle United, Arsenal, Brighton & Hove Albion, Aston Villa and West Ham United.

Leicester are ball number 12 in the draw. Third round ties will take place week commencing 25 September.
