Ahead of this weekend's clash between the two sides on Filbert Way, LCFC.com takes a look back at a memorable evening for the Blue Army, almost a quarter of a century ago.

Leicester had already defeated Scarborough (4-1 on aggregate) and York City (2-0) before being drawn against Premier League title holders Manchester United in the fourth round of the 1996/97 League Cup.
Sir Alex Ferguson's side had played just one tie to reach that stage of the competition, getting the better of Swindon Town by a 2-1 scoreline at Old Trafford in round three. The Foxes sat 12th in the Premier League standings and bounced back emphatically from their 2-1 home defeat to Everton four days prior.
Some 20,428 fans packed into Filbert Street to watch the contest, with star names such as Paul Scholes, Roy Keane and Karel Poborský taking to the pitch for the visitors, although the side was notably changed from league outings.
They could do nothing to stop a brilliantly taken goal from Steve Claridge, assisted by his strike partner Emile Heskey with a superb flick, to set Leicester on their way shortly before half-time. That goal would ultimately win the Club's Goal of the Season prize.
An early injury for Mike Whitlow had forced the Foxes into an early change at the back, with Julian Watts replacing the defender, but that did not stop City keeping a clean sheet against the champions.
Scholes was provided with the opportunity to level matters when the referee pointed to the spot, but he sent his penalty over Kasey Keller’s bar.
Heskey then sealed the win for Martin O'Neill's outfit with 13 minutes to play, via a neat half-volley from close range.
City went on to knock out Ipswich Town and then Wimbledon before defeating Middlesbrough in a final replay at Hillsborough, sealing their second League Cup triumph.
"Manchester United don't have a reserve team, they've got a squad," O'Neill said on United's much-changed line-up in the clash. "If you're talking about the likes of [Karel] Poborský and [Roy] Keane being reserve players, it's another matter.
"Of course, they've got some young players coming through who will be excellent footballers. You would have to say, of all the competitions, I'm quite sure that Alex has his eye on the European Cup and league matches as well.
"But even so, the most important thing is, we've won the game, and we've beaten Manchester United. It's great for us."
City: Keller, Whitlow (Watts 27'), Prior, Walsh, Grayson, Lennon, Izzet, Parker, Taylor (Lawrence 52'), Heskey, Claridge.
Goals: Claridge 38', Heskey 77'.
Attendance: 20,428
