About The Company

Established in 1884, Leicester City Football Club is a leading Football Club, achieving outstanding success as Premier League champions in 2016. Following a period of growth, Leicester City Football Club is recruiting an experienced Electrician to assist the Operations Manager with ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance and safety of buildings, plant and equipment, structures and outside the LCFC complex at King Power Stadium and its other premises.

About The Role

Based at King Power Stadium, the key duties of this role include the installation, maintenance and inspection of electrical apparatus and circuitry in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Carrying out the electrical requirements and tests prescribed under the General Safety Certificate for the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975. To test the PA system 24 hours prior to an event; record the examination into a designated log book, reporting any defects immediately to the Operations Manager. Carrying out weekly examinations of the emergency lighting units and recording the details in a log book.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a similar role and will have an analytical approach to work. They will hold a certificate for Domestic Electrical Installers. They will have an organised and calm approach to work and will and will be adaptable in order to deal with a variety of situations or tasks. They will be comfortable in dealing with difficult situations whilst maintaining a professional caring attitude at all times.
