Charlie Devlin played 120 minutes of football last weekend as Birmingham were stretched to extra-time in their fifth round FA Cup fixture with her former side Charlton Athletic. Substitute Ashley Hodson came off the bench to score for the Blues, sending them through to a quarter-final meeting with Brighton & Hove Albion.
Another Fox on the winning end of a scoreline was Natasha Flint, who started in Celtic's 3-0 win over rivals Rangers in the Scottish Women's Premier League as a goal from Amy Gallacher and a brace from Caitlin Mary Hayes gave the win to the Bhoys. The win leaves them second in the league with a round 50 points, three behind Glasgow City.
Sophie Barker once again captained Sheffield United as she started in their 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace. Becky Rayner scored in between both of Palace's second half goals, from Hollie Olding and Coral-Jade Haines respectively. The result sees the Blades second bottom in the Barclays Women's Championship with 11 points.
Closer to home, there were three City players in action for Coventry United in their 5-0 FA Cup defeat to Barclays Women's Super League opposition Brighton. Demi Lambourne, who joined on an emergency seven day loan, played the full game while Connie Scofield started and Ellen Jones came off the bench in the loss.
Brianna Visalli scored in the 17th minute which left the game at 1-0 until the last 12 minutes when Visalli scored a second. Lee Geum-Min also bagged a double either side of the 90 minute mark while Coventry player Francesca Orthodoxou was forced into turning the ball into her own net.
