The wait is almost over for the Foxes who are less than 24 hours away from kicking off their first-ever top-flight campaign following promotion from the FA Women’s Championship.
Ahead of the Midlands derby against Carla Ward’s Villans, here’s everything you can expect from the weekend’s coverage…
Pre-match interviews can be accessed on LCFC.com, including the thoughts of manager Jonathan Morgan and midfielder Molly Pike from Thursday afternoon’s virtual press conference with the national media.
Charlie Devlin and Jemma Purfield also sat down with the Club’s in-house TV channel in the lead up to the encounter to discuss the much-anticipated first game of the season, while a host of other preview content can be found across the Club’s channels.
On Saturday, following the all-important team news at 11:30pm, supporters can follow all of the WSL action by checking out the Club’s official social media channels, with live in-game updates housed on Twitter.
In addition, behind-the-scenes content is set to be posted on Instagram, alongside plenty of matchday build-up over on Facebook, while the game is also to be broadcast live and for free on The FA Player.
Then, following full-time, there will be a full round-up of the day’s events on the Club's official website, along with post-match interviews involving members of the Foxes dressing room on LCFC TV in the days following the fixture.
Match highlights, meanwhile, are set to be published from midday on Sunday, to allow fans to catch up on all the key moments from the top-flight opener.
Match tickets are available to purchase in person on the day of the game, directly from Banks’s Stadium. They are priced at £10 for adults, £7.50 for Under 18s and £5 for Under 14s.
All times BST.
