- Callum Doyle has been called up for England's Under-21s- Leicester City defender, on loan from Man City, has impressed in the East Midlands- The 19-year-old centre-back has not featured for the Under-21s yet
The young centre-back, on loan at Leicester City from Manchester City, has previously represented his country's Under-18s, Under-19 and Under-20s sides, making a total of 21 appearances across those levels. Lee Carsley, the Under-21s manager, has been impressed by Doyle's start for the Foxes this term, starring in all four of the Club's opening Sky Bet Championship fixtures. Leicester won all four to climb to the top of the table in August.
U21s European champions England will begin their EURO defence by visiting Luxembourg on Monday 11 September (5pm kick-off). The following month, Serbia are the visitors to the City Ground on Thursday 12 October (7.45pm kick-off).
