Following a week in Thailand, the Foxes are now on the Singapore Strait, which runs just above the equator, to fine tune their preparations for the 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship season.
On the first morning of a three-day stay on the island, Enzo Maresca's men were put through their paces in 30-degree heat. Taxing gym sessions in air-conned facilities actually offered some respite from the temperatures outside.
Being hosted at Lion City Sailors Academy, the City squad also headed out onto the pitches for a mix of fitness drills and ball-work exercises, with one eye on their final pre-season friendly of the summer.
Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool will be the opponents at the stunning Singapore National Stadium on Sunday (10am BST kick-off).
Speaking ahead of that match and after Friday's work on the training field, midfielder Harry Winks caught up with Foxes Hub, explaining the preparatory work currently being overseen by Maresca and his backroom team.
"Every day you learn something new from the manager because his knowledge of football is incredible," the England international commented. "So every day we are training good and training well.
"I think everybody is getting on really well as a squad and since I've come in, it's been brilliant for me because everyone's been great and so welcoming. I'm really enjoying it, I think all the boys are enjoying it and the style of play and the manager's concept. So it's positive."
Digital Members can watch Sunday's match against Liverpool live on Foxes Hub from 9:45am BST.
