Momiki’s performances in Foxes’ wins see the midfielder shortlisted for February’s Barclays Player of the Month award, while her strike against the Robins is also nominated for the Goal of the Month accolade.

The Japan international showcased her finishing ability by finding the top corner of the net from an acute angle against Bristol City, marking her first league goal for the Club which proved instrumental in the Foxes’ resounding 5-2 win at King Power Stadium.

Rantala, with an equally impressive strike, sees her effort deservedly placed on February’s Goal of the Month shortlist. Following some individual brilliance to beat her opposing defender, the Finland international dispatched a top-corner effort inside the near post to put the Foxes 4-2 ahead.

Both goals – scored in front of a home crowd on Filbert Way – helped the Foxes close the gap on sixth-placed Tottenham Hotspur to three points. Please click HERE for the latest highlights.

The pair face Goal of the Month competition from Bristol City's Carrie Jones, Hawa Cissoko of West Ham United, Everton midfielder Aurora Galli, Jordan Nobbs of Aston Villa and Manchester City duo Lauren Hemp and Chloe Kelly. Please click HERE to cast your vote.
