After defeat to Manchester City, the Foxes have the chance to bounce back to winning form when travelling to Merseyside this weekend.
Ahead of the fixture at Prenton Park, take a detailed look at both sides...
The Foxes camp
Leicester returned to WSL action last weekend when they welcomed the Citizens to King Power Stadium. While it stayed level for over an hour, the visitors did break the deadlock through Khadija Shaw, before a Chloe Kelly second confirmed the win for the visitors.
Prior to that, Willie Kirk's side were knocked out of both the Continental Tyres League Cup and Vitality Women's FA Cup, after narrow defeats to Man City and Reading respectively.
However, with five new signings added during the transfer window, and an improvement in performances, this developing City side will see Sunday afternoon as a perfect opportunity to double their points tally in their bid to secure WSL status for another season.
The opposition
Sunday opponents are Liverpool, a side currently sat eighth in the standings with 11 points from as many games, most recently claiming a 2-0 victory against Reading after goals from Missy Bo Kearns and Ceri Holland.
The Reds have won two other league games this term, one against West Ham United, and the other on the opening day of the season when they defeated current champions Chelsea 2-1 - Katie Stengel scoring both goals from the penalty spot.
Having been knocked out of the the League Cup and FA Cup by West Ham and Chelsea respectively, Liverpool's focus remains solely on the league, as they look to push themselves further up the table.
In the dugout
Liverpool's manager is Matt Beard, who, at 45 years of age, has managerial experience with Bristol City, West Ham, Boston Breakers and Chelsea, since his first job as head coach of Millwall Lionesses in 2008.
This is Beard's second time with the Merseyside club, and the fanbase will be very happy if it ends a similar way to his first. Winning the WSL in back-to-back seasons (2012/13 & 2013/14), the Englishman was awarded the Manager of the Season in 2013.
His most recent success came last year, when he led Liverpool to a title-winning season in the Barclays Women's Championship to gain access back to the top division.
Last time out
This is the first time that the two sides will meet in WSL action this season, after the arranged match-up between the two sides in December was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
City have played the Reds once previously this season, in the group stage of the Continental Tyres League Cup, when a young and inexperienced Foxes were defeated 4-0 at Pirelli Stadium in Burton.
